But here's the thing, my forge for 1.18.2 works just fine, I can launch it and play it in minecraft. I've tried redirecting the path for the jar like some other forums suggested, as well as the cmd prompt thing and none has worked. I've been trying to get Forge 1.12.2 since a lotta cool mods are for that version, however when I download the installer and try to open it to get it actually installed, it does what the video shows(the video shows 1.16.1 but that was because I was seeing if it was just 1.12.2 issue or an issue I need to fix).
